Short Q&A - Brand Revealer #10
Kitti Majoran is a brand strategy consultant. We were introduced to each other by the amazing Amanda Craven, who saw in us a good match in ideas and mindset.
I asked Kitti a few questions for the Q&A, plus we even had a longer talk you will be able to listen to after the Q&A.
She specialized in helping coaches and therapists with English as a second language. I love her positioning, and it revolves around a lot of bilingual creators like me. Through my conversations with her, I also realized the language challenge of talking to an audience that is more fluent in English. Yet, this is not what is a barrier to your audience finding resonance with your work. I am sure you will find nuggets of wisdom within the mix ahead.

What is your definition of Branding?
Branding is about setting ourselves apart from the competition, being visible and being recognised for what we do and considered as a quality option.
Branding is about building relationships and trust in people, and about protecting ourselves from economic and other type of crisis.

Branding is made of trial and error. The positioning takes effort, time and dedication. How can entrepreneurs recover from a branding that doesn't resonate yet with their audience?
The key is understanding the audience. Once we have clarity on that, we can work out our brand value proposition and design brand messaging that addresses the audience's pain points and aspirations, and positions our product/service as the bridge between the two points.

💡 Why infuse brand stories into your brand?
A few days ago I had the pleasure of speaking on Kitti’s stage. We had a live talk on brand storytelling. I shared with her my favourite definition of branding that came to me years ago: ''Branding is your storytelling in motion''. It stands for the art of speaking your evolving story, making it your brand's vehicle.
